Volunteer Clarksville 9/11 Serve to Remember Initiative seeks volunteers

clarksvilletnvolunteers_logo

Clarksville and Montgomery County’s 9/11 Serve to Remember Program is seeking 900 volunteers for the 2013 Days of Service. The community action initiative commemorates the re-dedication of selfless service in tribute to those who rose in service in response to the attacks of 9/11.  This is a positive way to remember the attacks and the sacrifices made by those first responders. It also reminds all of us of the importance of working together to improve the lives of others.

In the spirit of ‘Serve to Remember,’ Volunteer Clarksville in partnership with Hands On Nashville will observe this year’s 9/11 Serve to Remember Days of Service from September 1 through September 11. Clarksville citizens are asked to pay tribute on the days leading up to and including September 11 by joining together in service projects to meet our community’s needs.

Please reach out and help.

Visit Volunteer Clarksville at www.volunteerclarksville.volunteerhub.com and pledge to serve.
