Speed assessment results released, speed humps denied

The Clarksville Street Department has completed testing  of  Virginia Terrace and Appleton Drive and found that neither of these locations qualify for consideration of speed humps.

The Street Department has verified that the posted limit is appropriate and that it is sufficiently marked.

Virginia Terrace, ADT = 609, 85th percentile speed = 30 mph

Appleton Dr, ADT = 514, 85th percentile speed = 26 mph
