Police issue public assistance request in massive vehicle vandalism attacks

Clarksville Police report having taken several similar reports of vehicle vandalism incidents, both misdemeanors and felonies. These incidents have occurred in the downtown area, Crossland Drive, Cumberland Drive, Greenwood Avenue, Franklin & Commerce Streets, S. 11th Street, Coulter Street and Madison Street area. Police believe many more incidents may have occurred in other areas that may not yet have been reported. 

Most of the vandalized vehicles were parked along the streets or in easily accessible areas. Witnesses stated that they saw a green van driving by the vandalized vehicles with the side door open as a white male threw rocks at the vehicles. The van never stopped as the suspect threw the rocks. 

Detective Josh Jobe was able to retrieve video footage. If anyone can identify the suspects or has any information in regards to these vehicle vandalisms, please call Detective Jobe at 931-648-0656 Ext. 5269 or, to remain anonymous, call the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline at 931-645-TIPS (8477)
