ABC agents cite two stores selling alcohol to minors

We Check I.D. for Alcohol Sales

Alcohol Beverage Control Agents of the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operation Unit conducted operations targeting sales of alcohol to minors on June 6.

Sixteen establishments were checked with 14 found to be in compliance and two were cited for selling alcohol to minors. Agent Tanner Pew is the lead investigator, and these operations are ongoing.

The 2 establishments were cited for the following:

  • 3 counts of selling alcohol to a minor
  • 1 count UDP

POLICENEWS_iconTwo juveniles were cited for possessing alcohol under 21. Both juveniles were 17 and went into Rony’s and bought alcohol as CPD agents sat in the parking lot and watched them do it. Both Juveniles were released to their parents.
