Due to CPD Officer Todd Bell’s excellent police work and CPD Detective Andy Hurst’s investigative skills, two juveniles were arrested for the pizza delivery worker Robbery that occurred at Orchard Park Apartments on May 31 — only one day after the incident.

It all started when Officer Bell responded to a suspicious person with a weapon call near the intersection of Minglewood Drive and Cunningham Lane. Officer Bell observed the suspect throw a gun into the wood line. The suspect was detained and put in the patrol car. The suspect admitted that he stole the BB gun from Walmart.

After dealing with the shoplifting charge, Officer Bell started asking the suspect if he knew anything about the pizza delivery worker being robbed at Orchard Park Apts. The intersection of Minglewood Drive and Cunningham Lane is not far from South Lancaster Road, which is where Orchard Park Apartments is located. The suspect began giving names and revealed another planned attack on a pizza delivery worker.

Officer Bell and Detective Hurst then put their information together and were able to arrest two juveniles for the Robbery of the pizza delivery worker at Orchard Park Apartments. Due to the suspicious person call from a concerned Clarksville citizen and Officer Bell’s and Detective Hurst’s relentless police work in finding these suspects, they were arrested the day after the Robbery occurred.
