Two Springfield residents have been charged with knowingly buying stolen property.

According to a press release, 19th District Attorney General John Carney requested that the TBI launch an investigation on April 9. TBI Agents developed information on three occasions that  indicated a Springfield couple bought items including clothing and food that they knew to be stolen for personal use.  The items were valued at $1,000 but the couple paid $80.

Kevin Dickerson, 34, a businessman and a firefighter, owns Kevin’s Home Cooking. His wife, Avonda Dickerson, 34, was also charged.
