Five people including two children were injured Monday in a head on crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Both drivers and at least two children were taken to a hospital by ambulance but their names have not yet been released.

According to reports, one adult and two children were in a white Chevrolet Malibu traveling north when a southbound Chevrolet Camaro hit their car head-on near  the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Park Lane.

Both drivers and at least two children were taken to a hospital by ambulance. In all, five people were injured. A third vehicle, a Honda, also was involved, but that driver, Brittany Cherry, was not injured.

Cherry was traveling northbound when she saw the Camaro suddenly swerve across the lanes, heading in her direction. One of her rear-view mirrors was hit, but that was the only damage to her car.

The driver of the Malibu was behind the Honda and couldn’t see the Camaro approach. The driver of the Camaro was female but also had a male passenger.

Cherry and her passenger assisted the woman out of the camaro and other bystanders got the children out of the Malibu.
