Rain, possible storms, will move into Middle Tennessee this afternoon, bringing scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours.

Some of these storms may become strong at time especially for areas south of I-40 and West of I-65.

The main threats will be strong wind gusts and small hail.

Weather spotters may be called to action.

The forecast for the remainder of the week includes a 30-50% chance of rain and thunderstorms through Saturday that has the potential to damage Clarksville’s annual River and Spires Festival.
