Police respond to fatal shooting on Chapel Street

Officers with the Clarksville Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Chapel St. in response to a shooting Thursday shortly after 9 p.m.

Upon  arrival they located 24-year-old Fran Daniel Caratini, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Mr. Caratini was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The Clarksville Police is asking anyone with any information on this case to contact Det. Chris Nolder at (931)648-0656 ext. 5341 or call the TIPS line at (931) 645-TIPS to remain anonymous.
