Police make arrest in domestic violence case

 A 25-year-old Clarksville woman has been charged  with aggravated domestic  assault stemming from an argument early Saturday morning on Ringgold Road.

Police responded to a hang-up call from 750 Ringgold Road Saturday at 1:01 a.m. to find the victim standing on the porch of a residence, holding a towel to his chest. An ambulance was called.

Witnesses said the woman and her boyfriend were arguing and she punched him in the face before going inside. She came back outside to talk with her boyfriend and the victim moved between them to prevent any physical altercation.  The woman became angry with the victim and stabbed him with a knife before running away.

Stephanie Kimball of 750 Ringgold Road was booked into Montgomery County Jail on aggravated assault related to the stabbing and aggravated domestic assault for hitting and threatening her boyfriend. Se was also charged with violating  a restraining order in a March case between her and her boyfriend.  Bond is $41,000.
