Parks & Recreation’s to host Dreamchasers Olympics

Clarksville Parks & Recreation’s Dreamchasers program will host the first-ever Dreamchasers Olympics on Saturday, May 31 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

Dreamchasers is a program designed to help mentor and aide middle school and high school-aged members of the community.  The program is offered at the Kleeman, Crow, and Burt-Cobb Community Centers throughout the school year to youth ages 13-17.

Dreamchasers Olympics will feature the following activities for program participants and their friends:

  • Around the World 3 Point Shoot Out
  • Top of the World
  • Fitness Challenge
  • Mummy Wrap
  • Water Balloon Relay

Prizes will be awarded to first-place winners in each event.  Other entertainment such as a DJ playing music, and inflatables will be available as well as free food
