Parks & Recreation to give away free school supplies

Once again this year, youth entering kindergarten through 12th grade will have the opportunity to receive free school supplies from the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department during the 2014 Back to School Splash.  Participants will receive free school supplies and a fun pool party at New Providence and Beachaven Pools on August 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.

To ensure that your child can participate in the Back to School Splash, be sure to pre-register no later than July 26 at  Pre-registration is required and limited to the first 300 students at New Providence Pool and 300 at Beachaven Pool.  Participants may only register for one pool location and children must be present to receive their school supplies.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the Back to School Splash school supply giveaway stash may drop off supplies all summer long at any of our five public pool locations as well as the Parks & Recreation main office, located at 102 Public Square.
