Officials schedule press conference Fort Campbell downsizing

City of Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan and Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers invite members of the media to attend a press conference to discuss the immediate need for community support in addressing the potential upcoming reduction of personnel on the Fort Campbell military installation.

The Mayors will be joined by Senator Mark Green, Representative Curtis Johnson, Representative Joe Pitts, Representative John Tidwell, and Melinda Shepard, Executive Director of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 11 at the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce office, 25 Jefferson Street, Suite 300, Clarksville.
