Local Heroes put the “fun” in fundraiser for charity

Local 140 Firefighter Heroes will come out in force and put on a spectacular performance to launch the new 2015/2016 Charity Calendar for the Nashville Firefighters Foundation Association and Operation Warm charities on Thursday, March 12th at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville.

The primary purpose behind the calendar and fundraiser is to help raise awareness and funding for the Nashville Firefighters Association Foundation. The Foundation supports over 50 charities in Davidson County and throughout Nashville. These charities include Firefighters for Operation Warm (providing 100% American Made winter coats, at no cost, to underprivileged children), Muscular Dystrophy, Camp Horizon and Camp Phoenix Children’s Burn Camp.

Proceeds from every calendar sale will benefit charities right in Nashville’s own backyard. Since 1993 the calendar has helped raise and estimated $125,000 to date and since 2002, in partnership with the Southern Women’s Show, has raised over an additional $100,000. The calendar has grown along with the hopes that it will raise a goal of $30,000 for charity this year!

Show tickets are $10.00 in advance online and $12.00 at the door.

Tickets and the 2015/2016 Calendar are available for purchase at the fundraiser and online at www.nashvillefirefighters.com. By supporting this event and the calendar you will be special a part of our local heroes efforts.
