Kiwanis rodeo brings wild west to Clarksville

The 28th Kiwanis Rodeo opens this weekend with two nights of shows and activities for children of all ages.

PRCA clown/barrelman Brian Potter entertains between the events scheduled.

The event features bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and the most dangerous of all — bull riding.

The rodeo takes place in the Montgomery County 4-H arena, 1921 Rossview Road, east of I-24. Tockets are $20 per adult, $10 per child under age 12.

The event is held at the Montgomery County 4H Arena, 1921 Rossview Road, which is east of Interstate 24.

Tickets at the gate are $20 for adults, $10 for children under 12.

The rodeo begins at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, May 29-30.
