Human Resources Director arrested on false report claim

Clarksville Human Resources Director William Wyatt, 39, of 4120 Lena Court, was arrested  by Clarksville Police  Saturday on a charge of filing a false report. Mayor Kim McMillan declined to comment on the arrest or the preliminary charges.

According to law enforcement officials, Wyatt’s information concerning the location of his vehicle after an accident was false, prompting the arrest.

Wyatt was booked into Montgomery County Jail on $1,000 bond.
