Griffey & Associates surrender real estate license

real estate

The Clarksville property management firm Griffey & Associates LLC and owner Gary (Mike) Griffey have voluntarily surrendered the company’s license to do business in the state of Tennessee.

The Tennessee Real Estate Commission named Griffey & Associates LLC for failure to account in a timely way for monies owed and failure to give a timely response to the complaint. The result was a permanent surrender of license and the assessing of court costs.

According to the Real Estate Commission, the company failed to remit money owed to the property owners. The Commission held a hearing in August based on the number and type of complaints.

The Commission learned that Griffey agreed to permanently surrender his license in September in lieu of a formal hearing. Griffey agreed to surrender the license of his company in November.
