Dover relocates Memorial Day service due to weather threat

DOVER: The 2015 Stewart County Memorial Day Observance will be held at the Stewart County Visitor Center.

Traditionally held in the Fort Donelson National Cemetery, because of predicted thunderstorms, and in the interest of safety, Stewart County officials have relocated this year’s Memorial Day observance to the Stewart County Visitor, located at: 117 Visitor Center Lane, Dover.

The time for the ceremony remains at 1:00 p.m.

Area residents are encouraged to attend this annual and proper recognition of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
