Club Magic Nightclub locked down by city; declared a “public nuisance”

The Club Magic Nightclub at 1310 Fort Campbell Boulevard has been declared a “public nuisance” and officially locked down today by the City and the Clarksville Police Department.

Captain David Crockarell and Prevention Officer Kyle Fleming, along with District 1 personnel, and District Attorney John Carney and Assistant District Attorney Chris Dodson have been investigating Club Magic since October 2013.

The CPD’s District 1 personnel collected necessary documentation to determine that Club Magic was a Public Nuisance. When the documentation was submitted to the District Attorney’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office was able to present the findings to Judge Ross Hicks, who ordered that the club be closed down and to padlock the doors. That action was taken today, July 7.

Chief Al Ansley stated that he appreciates the hard work and relentless effort that was put into this investigation by District 1 personnel and the District Attorney’s Office.

There will be more details released at a later date. There is no further information at this time.
