CDE to read meters

In an effort to keep billing cycles as near the 30 day cycle as possible, CDE Lightband plans to read meter routes on December 14 between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Meters to be read are on routes  including the following areas: Gracey Avenue, Central Avenue, Greenfield Drive, and Kingsbury Road.

Meter readers will be driving CDE-marked vehicles and will be wearing CDE-marked vests. Should you have any questions, contact CDE Lightband at 931-648-8151.

Council members received notice today that the Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) Power Board will meet tomorrow morning (April 15) in a special called session at 8 a.m. at CDE to obtain a broadband outage update.

The Street Department has been out all night trying to salt the roads but the ice accumulation is making it very difficult. Street Department employees will continue to be out and working across the City.
