Officials plan to re-open major road in LBL on Monday


GOLDEN POND, KY: Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area anticipates opening Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway on Monday, December 9. Other Forest Service system roads will potentially remain hazardous for driving due to icy conditions. Management will re-evaluate conditions on Monday to decide when facilities can re-open to the public. Visitors are urged to use caution when traveling through Land Between The Lakes. If planning to visit a facility, call to check conditions first.
