“The sun will come out” for the Winter Market at the Smith Trahern Mansion, 101 McClure Street, which opens today until 1:30 p.m. The winter market will be open on Fridays through the winter and early spring.

Already this season we have been filling the house with local vendors and shoppers. Thank you all for you supporting and shopping local with these homestead businesses. This local project is supported by volunteers of the mansion and key leaders of Family and Community Education.

Come shop and support the market by purchasing vegetables, handmade items for personal use and to use as gifts. There are educational exhibits and Extension Staff to talk with about the many activities and events with our UT TSU Montgomery County Extension.

Vendor space is $5.00. The Smith Trahern Mansion will be opened for vendors to set up each week at 8:30 a.m.

These first days we do recommend you bringing a table or two. It is a friendly family oriented atmosphere!

Potential vendors should contact: Barbara Brown, Coordinator-931-801-0822.
