O’Charley’s hosts ‘Date Night’ for Ft. Campbell families

O’Charley’s Restaurant and Grill, 2792 Wilma Rudolph Blvd, gave several military families an early holiday treat on Saturday night. As their way of showing appreciation to the task force deploying to assist in the Ebola crisis in Liberia, the task force members and their families were guests of the restaurant for the night with their choice of entrees and desserts. A special dinning area was designated within the restaurant for the event. Centerpiece decorations for the event were  created by a staff member. The waitstaff was especially attuned to their military guests’ wishes and made every effort to meet their diners’ requests. From the house special, ‘Prime Rib’ to the shrimp scampi/sirloin, Baby Back Ribs to the spinach-artichoke appetizer to Tuscan Chicken Salad, the kitchen staff were on their game with succulent, tastefully prepared creations of mouth-watering delights.

Mayoral candidate Jeff Burkhart, State Rep. John Tidwell and U.S. House candidate Dan Crammer all offered their personal recognition to the soldiers and their families for their service, sacrifice and dedication in the face of danger. The honors all included wishes for a quick and safe return to their loved ones and community.  All the guests expressed their surprise and  appreciation to O’Charley’s for this special night out happening.
