Donate school supplies, shop fresh produce, and pledge support at Downtown Market

downtown market

Since its opening, the Clarksville Downtown Market has been a success — so much so that it was voted the number one market in Tennessee through America’s Farmland Trust four years in a row.

Don’t miss your chance to visit the Clarksville Downtown Market this Saturday, July 26, 2014 by stopping by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation booth and pledging your support! Each pledge made for our market inches us closer to the number one market in the country as a part of the “I Love My Farmers Market Celebration™” hosted by American Farmland Trust. The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Public Square.

Bring the whole family to shop from over 60 vendors selling fresh produce and one-of-a-kind handmade treasures, create a craft with help from Paper, Chalk, Scissors, and enjoy a musical performance by Kevin Greene. It’s all happening Saturday at the Downtown Market.

Since school will be back in session soon, the Clarksville Parks & Recreation department will also be collecting school supplies for their annual “Back to School Splash”. To see a full list of supplies needed, visitwww.cityofclarksville.com/events. Please bring supplies to the Parks & Recreation booth.

Be sure to become a fan or follower on Facebook by searching Clarksville Downtown Market and stay “in the know” about the season.
