The 2013-14 Community Concert Series kicks off with a performance by the U.S. Army’s Jazz Ambassadors on Friday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Formed in 1969, the ensemble has performed in all 50 states and countries such as Japan, India, Mexico, and various European states. The Jazz Ambassadors are known for their talent playing in various styles, including big band swing, bebop, Latin, and Dixieland.
All CCCS concerts are held in the Music/Mass Communication Concert Hall at the intersection of Marion and Eighth Streets. Parking is free. Tickets are priced at $30 per adult, $27 for military and seniors, and $5 for students.
