Through the lens: Autumn moments

A moment of autumn captured in a single frame.

In the span of a single 24-hour  period in Autumn, one can capture many wondrous sights depicting the splendor of the season. Photographer Turner McCullough offers this collection of Autumn images from around our city that caught his eye and his fancy.

The play of light upon a leaf dancing in the wind, morning dew on swaying wild grass, the exhilarating sounds of a Halloween percussion concert, the contrast of fallen leaves against still vibrant green grass, the U.S. flag framed by a tree’s fading leaves — these are just a few images which call to mind the splendor of the season. It’s all here, right round us, free for the viewing and reflection.
