The Roxy Regional Theatre opens its 2013-14 season on September 13 with Monty Python’s Tony Award-winning ”Spamalot,” a rip-off of Python’s classic film comedy about King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table, and the quest for the Holy Grail.
Before they can find the grail, though, these legendary characters find themselves on a little side-trip to the Queen City — complete with a bevy of beautiful show girls, flying cows, killer rabbits, and French people. Eric Idle penned the shows lyrics, and music is by Idle and John du Prez .
The show runs through October 19. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children aged 13 and under. For ticket information and reservations, call the Roxy at 931.645.7699 or visit the theatre online.
