“Print Crawl” doubles as scavenger hunt in Nashville

Nashville’s “Print Crawl,” to be held October 3 from 6-9 p.m. in Nashville, combines art with a scavenger hunt. It’s sponsored by k2forma, inc at 429 South Chestnut Street in Nashville.

Participants can pick up their poster (map) template at Sawtooth Printhouse and make their first print from 6-7 p.m. After that, swing by all of the print shops to complete your poster and finish it at Grand Palace.

Stick around after for a drink and to check out how your friend’s posters look. If you miss a shop, sorry – there will be a gap  in your poster, which will be sad but not the end of the world.

Maps will be available to show the locations of all the shops, and some print shops are in shared spaces so the distance walked won’t be too long.

Participants include Goldsmith Press, Grand Palace Silkscreen, Isle of Printing, k2forma, Kangaroo Press, Platetone Printshop, and Sawtooth Printshop.

Food Trucks will also be posted around the neighborhoods, so you won’t have to go hungry.
