Parnassus Books will host a Nook Club Seminar on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at 3900 Hillsboro Pike Suite 14 in Nashville.
What makes a book club successful? How can a book club make the most of its meetings? Which books will stimulate lively discussion? Which books will not?
Members of local book clubs are invited to hear the latest in successful book choices, new releases, and future selections. Kathy Schultenover, Parnassus Book Club Coordinator, will offer useful tips and practical suggestions for enriching your book club. Suggested reading lists and sample books will be available.
Local authors Jennie Fields (Age of Desire) and Jeanne Ray (Calling Invisible Women) provide an author’s perspective on what makes a fun and successful book club meeting.
