Movies in the Park, the City’s free, outdoor movie series, continues Saturday, July 26, and will be switching locations to Liberty Park, 1190 Cumberland Dr., Clarksville, for the rest of the season.

This film stars Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta made it debut in 1978 and was at first a really great summer rock and roll movie. Over time, it has evolved into a classic of its time. Newton-john is  the classic good girl who falls in love with Travolta over the summer. In a cinematic ploy, they find each other in the same high school come fall — only at school, Travolta on of the bad boys. The film is filled with hummable, danceable tunes including Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You,  Rock and Roll is Here to Stay, and Greased Lightning.

‘Grease,’ rated PG, and brought to you by Rewind 94.3, will be shown at approximately 8:15 p.m. (dependent on sunset). Activities begin at 7:15 p.m. and include karaoke with Clarksville Parks & Recreation and soccer demonstrations with the Clarksville Soccer Club.
