DAC hosts 4th Regional Art Exhibit

The Downtown Artists’ Co-op is hosting its fourth regional art exposition this August.

The 2014 Regional Art Exposition will be on display the month of August in the DAC Gallery and is sponsored by Legends Bank and Sango Wine and Spirits. All regional artists, at least 18 years of age, are encouraged to enter, and all entries will be accepted.

Well-known local artists Frank Lott and Terri Jordan are jurying the entries for awards. Cash prizes will be given for Best of Show, as well as, First and Second Place in each category.

The prospectus can be downloaded from the DAC website, or picked up at the gallery at 96 Franklin Street. Entries are to be hand delivered to the gallery between Friday, August 1 and between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2.

The opening reception and awards presentation will be held during the First Thursday Art Walk reception on August 7.
