Christopher J. Walker, a suspect in the January 31 armed robbery of a Hopkinsville business, narrowly evaded arrest by Clarksville Police yesterday morning. Police warn that Walker should be considered armed and dangerous.

Approximately 8:45 A.M. on February 1, police received information that Walker was in Room 26 of the Mid-Towner Motel, 890 Kraft Street. Police surrounded the motel and contacted Walker by phone. They sought to negotiate a voluntary surrender with him, but he hung up on the officers.

Shortly after officers arrived on scene, video footage was reviewed and it was determined Walker was able to flee minutes before police were able to surround the motel.
