The Clarksville Customs House Museum and Cultural Center, in honor of Women’s History Month, will host a special exhibit of talented contemporary Tennessee women successful in the field of visual art. Custom House promotions director Terri Jordan created the exhibit to recognize this array of talent representative of Tennessee and covering a variety of visual artistic mediums.
Artists included in the exhibit are April Street, Denise Stewart Sanabria, Julia Martin, Jennifer Utterback, Brenda Stein, Caroline Allison, Adrienne Outlaw, Annamaria Gundlach, Anne Babgy, Edie Maney and Irene Ritter. Samples of the various mediums practiced by these artists are shown in this story’s gallery.
“It is very exciting to bring these talents together, under one roof, in one exhibit, for the first time,” said Jordan.
