Swing Sets
Adventure Playsets is recalling Adventure Playsets Wooden Play Sets sold nationwide and in Canada from January 2004 to December 2007. The plastic coated lumber on the horizontal ladder (monkey bar/swing beam) can weaken over time due to rotting of the whitewood (spruce, pine and fir species), resulting in a fall hazard.
This recall involves wooden play sets with swings, slides and ladders. Each set has an overhead monkey bar ladder that acts as both the monkey bar and swing beam, and an end ladder coated with cranberry or green plastic. The instruction manual has the name ‘Adventure Playsets’. A complete list of the model numbers can be found at www.recalls.org.

Travel Mugs
The Life is Good Company is recalling Fall 2009 Newbury Travel Mugs sold nationwide from July 2009 to September 2009. The travel mugs can become excessively hot to the touch when filled with hot liquids, posing a burn hazard.
This recall involves Newbury Travel Mugs. The 7 ½ -inch tall mugs were sold in blue, green and orange each with a navy blue lid. The Life is good trademark is printed on the mug along with a graphic of a heart, peace symbol or daisy.
Consumers can return the mugs to receive a credit or gift certificate for the amount of the purchase price.

Microwave Ovens
Samsung Electronics America Inc. is recalling Samsung’s Over-the-Range Microwaves sold nationwide from January 2009 to July 2009. If an installation bolt comes in contact with an electrical component inside the unit and the microwave is plugged into an ungrounded outlet, it could create a shock hazard.
The recall involves Samsung 1000 watt over-the-range microwave ovens. The model and serial numbers can be found at www.recalls.org.

Art Easels
MacPherson’s is recalling Young Artist Easels sold nationwide from July 2004 to June 2009. The chalkboard surface coating contains high levels of lead.
This recall involves a children’s art easel which has a chalkboard surface on one side and a white board surface on the other side. The item number is AA13301 and the UPC number is 082435133010 which can be found on the original packaging.

Strollers
Maclaren USA Inc. is recalling Maclaren Strollers sold nationwide from 1999 to November 2009. The stroller’s hinge mechanism poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller.
This recall involves all Maclaren single and double umbrella strollers. The word “Maclaren” is printed on the stroller. The affected models included Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller.

Power Adapters
IBM is recalling Power Adapters with IBM RDX Back Up Hard Disk Drives sold nationwide from January 2009 to July 2009. A plastic weld on the power adapters can fail and allow two parts to separate, exposing live electrical contacts. This poses a shock hazard.
This recall involves power adapters sold with IBM RDX removable back up hard disk drives. The data storage devices were sold with a power adapter that fits various country specific plugs. “Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd” is printed on the adapters. IBM and RDX are printed on the back up hard disk drives.
Consumers should contact an IBM service provider to determine if their adaptor is involved in this recall and, if so, will receive a free replacement adapter.

Cheese and Sauce Dispenseres
Gehl Foods Inc. is recalling Gehl’s HOT TOP2 Nacho Cheese and Chili Sauce Dispensers sold nationwide from December 2003 to September 2009. The dispenser’s fan blade can come into contact with the heater coil, posing fire and burn hazards.
This recall includes Gehl Food’s commercial nacho cheese and chili sauce dispensers with model numbers HT2-04 Single, HT2-04 Dual, and HT2-03 APS with serial numbers HT2 164500 through HT2 299689. The model and serial numbers are located on the back of the dispensers. “Gehl’s” is printed on the front of the dispensers.

Rechargeable Batteries
AMX is recalling Rechargeable Batteries sold with MVP 5000 Series Wireless Touch Panels sold nationwide from May 2008 to June 2009. Touch panels left uncharged for more than three months can fail, causing the battery to rupture. This poses a fire and burn hazard.
This recall involves AMX 5000 series (MVP-5100, MVP-5150, MVP-5200i) wireless touch panels. The model number can be found on a label on the back of the unit. These touch panels can be used as remote controls for residential or commercial audio/visual systems. AMX 5000 series touch panels are available in black or white and include a 5.2″ wide screen color LCD display.

Treestands
Gander Mountain Company is recalling Hang-On Fixed Position Treestands sold at Gander Mountain stores from July 2008 to July 2009. The clasp may open unexpectedly if the strap is fastened incorrectly, causing the treestand and user to fall to the ground.
Gander Mountain is recalling the 2008 model GMT101 and 2008 model GMT103 Hang-On Fixed Position Treestands. The recalled treestands have wire mesh on the base of the platform to the top of the footrest and a Gander Mountain logo on the front of the seat. In addition, the seat has a camouflage pattern that is branded “AP” and “REALTREE”. Model GMT101 has “Steel Hang-On With Foot Rest” printed in large bold print on the exterior of the box and the GMT103 has “Large Steel Hang-On With Foot Rest” printed on the exterior
of the box.
Consumers should return the treestands to Gander Mountain for a refund, exchange for a 2009 model or a store credit.

Backpack Blowers
Homelite Consumer Products Inc. is recalling Homelite Backpack Blowers sold nationwide from September 2007 to October 2009. The fuel tank can leak gasoline, posing a fire hazard.
This recall involves the Homelite Mighty Lite backpack blowers. The blowers are red and black. A list of the models numbers can be found at www.recalls.org.

Bycycles
Easton Sports is recalling Bicycles with EA30 Stems sold nationwide from August 2007 to August 2009. The bicycle stem can crack and cause the rider to lose control, posing a risk of serious injury if the rider falls.
This recall involves all Raleigh 2007, XXIX 700c MTN, RX1.0, Diamondback 007, Mission, and Sortie bicycles with EA30 stems. The EA30 stems are black with white-and-gray graphics and feature a four-bolt stem face cap.”EA30″ is printed on the stem. EA30 stems sold as aftermarket items are included in this recall.

BabyHammocks
Three Sisters Toys Inc. is recalling Yayita Baby Hammocks sold by Three Sisters Toys online from December 2007 to July 2008. The hammock can flip over, posing a serious fall hazard and strangulation hazard to infants who become entrapped in the seat’s restraint straps while upside down.
The recalled baby hammock is a cream-colored canvas and hangs from a wooden pole. “La Siesta” is printed on a tag located below the restraint straps. Model number YABN-1 is printed on a white tag sewn into the hammock’s side seam.

Pacifiers
Grand World Inc. is recalling “Bobby Chupete” Pacifiers sold nationwide from November 2004 to July 2009. The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards. The pacifier mouth guard is too small, posing a choking hazard.
This recall involves “Bobby Chupete” pacifiers. The pacifiers have a ring-shaped handle and heart-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes. “Bobby Chupete” and a picture of an infant are printed on the pacifier’s packaging. The pacifier was sold in aqua, red, white or yellow colors.

Hooded Jackets
Century 21 Promotions is recalling Youth Hooded Sweatshirts and Jackets sold at various stores in New England, Seattle, Washington and Alaska from September 2005 to September 2009. The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard.
This recall involves children’s sweatshirts and jackets sold in sizes XS and XXL in colors: navy blue, black, brown, pink, red, white, green, grey, blue, yellow, and orange. The recalled garments contain the following embroidered logos: “Montauk,” “Avalon,” “Stone Harbor,” “Cape May,” “Sea Isle,” “Ocean City,” “Alaska,” “Nantucket,” “Maine,” “Long Beach Island,” “Lavallette,” “Seaside Park” “Newport,” “Monterey,” “Carmel,”"Skaneateles,” “1000 Islands,” “Block Island” and “Seattle.”
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garment to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Safety Harness
Gorilla Inc. is recalling EXO-Tech Safety Harness sold nationwide from May 2009 to August 2009. The webbing of the waist belt on the safety harness is not routed through the lineman’s loop located on the front of the harness near waist level. Since the loops are not properly anchored to the harness webbing but are attached only through stitching not intended to restrain a user during a fall, they can pull away from the harness when force is applied, leaving the user unrestrained.
This safety harness, used as a fall restraint for hunting, is comprised of two leg straps and two shoulder straps, which connect to a waist belt and padded back support. The name EXO-Tech is located on the right front shoulder strap and the name Gorilla is located on the left front should strap both in white lettering. Similar to a shirt tag, there is a white manufacturing label on the inside of the back of the harness with the model number 45111 and manufacturing dates, 4/22/2009 or 6/26/2009. These are the only harnesses recalled.

Gas Grills sold at Lowe’s
L G Sourcing is recalling Perfect Flame SLG Series Gas Grills sold nationwide and in Canada from September 2005 to May 2009 The burners can deteriorate causing irregular flames and the lids of some models can catch fire, posing fire and burn hazards.
The recalled grills are SLG series “Perfect Flame” brand outdoor propane or natural gas grills. The grills are stainless steel and painted black or gray metal. The model numbers affected by this recall are listed below. The model number can be found in the compartment under the cooking chamber. Cookware
Cost Plus Inc. is recalling Stainless Steel Cookware sold at Cost Plus World Market stores nationwide in August 2009. The handles on the cookware can break, posing a burn hazard.
This recall involves three stainless steel cookware sets; a 4-piece multi-cooker set, a 3-piece steamer set, and a 1.5 quart egg poacher with SKU numbers 422698, 422699 and 422700. The SKU numbers can be found on the sales receipt.

Stork Craft cribs
Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. is recalling Stork Craft drop-side cribs and Stork Craft drop-side cribs with the Fisher-Price logo sold nationwide and in Canada from January 1993 to October 2009. The cribs’ drop-side plastic hardware can break, deform, or parts can become missing. In addition, the drop-side can be installed upside-down, which can result in broken or disengaged plastic parts. All of these problems can cause the drop-side to detach in one or more corners.
This recall includes Stork Craft cribs with manufacturing and distribution dates between January 1993 and October 2009. This recall also includes Stork Craft cribs with the Fisher-Price logo that have manufacturing dates between October 1997 and December 2004. The manufacture date, model number, crib name, country of origin, and the firm’s name, address, and contact information are located on the assembly instruction sheet attached to the mattress support board.

Warm-up suits
Fashion Options is recalling Boy’s Velour Warm-up Sets sold at Burlington Coat Factory stores nationwide from September 2007 to October 2009. The sweatshirts have drawstrings through the hoods, posing a strangulation hazard.
This recall involves boy’s hooded sweatshirts style B639BC in colors black, chocolate and charcoal. The velour sweatshirts were sold in sizes S, M, L, or XL and have the name “Beverly Hills Polo Club” on the hangtag and on the center back neck.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garment any Burlington Coat Factory store for a full refund.

Gas Ranges
Electrolux Home Products Inc. is recalling Electrolux ICON and Kenmore Pro 30″ Gas Ranges sold nationwide from August 2008 to October 2009. An incorrect part allows more fuel to pass to the range’s oven than can be burned efficiently, causing incomplete combustion and the release of carbon monoxide. This poses a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
A complete list of the serial numbers can be found at www.recalls.org. For Electrolux ICON, the model and serial numbers are located on the back of the range. For the Kenmore PRO, the model and serial numbers are located near the base of the range just below the bottom right portion of the oven door and also on the back of the range

Team Work Trading is recalling Children’s Metal Pendants sold nationwide from November 2008 to March 2009. The recalled children’s pendants contain high levels of lead.
This recall involves eleven types of metal pendants sold with silver-colored chains. The pendants feature symbols from the following animations/cartoons:
“Bleach,” “Death Note,” “Naruto” and “One Piece.”

Hooded Sweatshirts
Allura Imports Inc. is recalling Girl’s Hooded Sweatshirts sold exclusively at Burlington Coat Factory stores nationwide from October 2008 to July 2009. The sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard.
This recall involves girl’s velour hooded sweatshirts with a zip front. The sweatshirts were sold as a part of a 2-piece set. ?Major Diva? is printed on the front of the sweatshirts. The tag on the inside of the sweatshirts reads, “2b REAL.” The sweatshirts were sold in hot pink, light pink, ivory and khaki, and in sizes 4, 5/6 and 6X.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garments to either the place of purchase or to Allura Imports for a full refund.
